Trips to kindergartens, primary and high schools.
We offer various instances of nature conservation aspects for kindergartens, primary and high schools.
Trips include an information session on the specific aspect of nature and an interaction session. Trip themes include: Reptiles, Spiders, Mammals, Sea Animals, Bees, Worms, Air / Light, Amphibians / Birds, Vultures, Insects, Soil, Water. With some themes, children can look at and feel a live animal.
Weekly lessons for Gr R – Gr 5.
The program consists of 1 lesson per week of approximately one hour. Due to the busy curriculum, it is not always possible for teachers to come to the practical work. At Eco Pilots, all our lessons are very ‘Hands On’! We look at the conservation of rare and protected animals and plants and learn about all aspects of nature, including; visits from animals, construction of volcanoes, and a lot of practical fun. Main themes for all the lessons offered are water, air, light, soil, animals, plants and humans. At Eco Pilots we regard nature as our main priority and want our children actively involved in preserving our nature from a young age. Our costs include all the needs, as well as visits from the animals.
Holiday Programs for Gr00 – Gr5 Learners.
Every vacation we have a wonderful holiday program for Gr00 – Gr5 learners. The program is for 3 days and is available at our office in Doornpoort from 8:00 to 17:00, so that working parents can drop-off children before work and pick them up again after work. Every holiday has a different theme and we make lots of things and learn about many animals and their place in nature. Here there will be visits from many animals.
